In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top photo and video applications on iOS in South America showcased notable performance trends. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights key metrics such as weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Instagram witnessed fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $571K at the end of October. The app's downloads varied, reaching a high of around 298K in mid-December, while active users steadily increased from 25.4M to 25.9M by the end of the quarter.

CapCut - Video Editor recorded a significant rise in weekly revenue, starting from around $933K and peaking at $1.5M by the end of December. Downloads saw a notable increase, especially towards the end of December with approximately 299K downloads, and active users grew from 10.2M to 12.2M.
